Cracks on Feet, Stains of Blood and Wudu

Question: Assalamu Alaikkum
There are so many cracks in my feet and some times they turn into wounds and blood comes out. Stains of blood sometimes won’t leave after washing. How is affecting my ritual purity?
Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
I pray that you are in the best of health and faith, insha’Allah.
If it is harmful to wash your feet directly, it would be permitted to wash over the medicine you apply to them. If that is harmful, you should wipe the area. If that, too, is harmful, it would be permitted to leave the wiping altogether. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]
Harm is defined as that which will: (1) worsen the injury, or (2) delay its recovery.
The Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “No toil, sickness, anxiety, sadness, harm, or stress afflicts a Muslim – even the thorn that pricks him – except that with it, Allah erases some of his sins” [Bukhari; Muslim].
Try your best, ask Allah to lift the difficulty, and feel free to ask any questions that you may have. May Allah bless you with a full and swift recovery.
And Allah alone gives success.
Wassalam,
