In this episode Shaykh Yahya Rhodus highlights the use of discretion in fulfilling one’s needs as taught by Prophet Muhammad. Shaykh Yahya narrates the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad of concealing one’s affairs and keeping one’s secrets and not telling others about them unnecessarily.  He explains that the human tendency of wanting to tell others about their secrets is from a lack of patience, and may be a cause of not having one’s affairs fulfilled.

The Content of Character is a remarkable collection of sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. Chosen by the scholar, Shaykh Al-Amin Ali Mazrui and translated by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, this book was published to great critical acclaim.
