Summary:

SeekersGuidance is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic graphic designer to join their SeekersSeminars department. This busy department deals with the booking, organizing, and managing of Islamic events all around the world. The role of the graphic designer would be to produce quality visuals for a variety of purposes, including to promote and educate people about Islam. SeekersGuidance uses various mediums with which to do this, including the website, email and other online media, print and powerpoint presentations.

Everything that we produce must reflect the SeekersGuidance spirit, and should be consistent with our current branding.

Responsibilities:

•    Regularly meeting with other members of the department to establish needs.
•    Developing designs by gathering information and thinking creatively to produce new ideas. The graphic designer will manage this function exclusively.
•    Multi-tasking will often be required.
•    Using a range of media, but predominantly digital. Ability to use Illustrator and Photoshop files is necessary. Knowledge of HTML would be an advantage.
•    Due to the nature of the work in this department, there are often tight deadlines.

Minimum hours contribution per week: 8, plus required meeting time
