Summary:

Designs, develops, and maintains software systems used within the SeekersGuidance website.  Comfortable with authoring in-house solutions, as well as customizing/maintaining/administering out-of-the-box solutions.  Willing to work in a team-based environment with a strong focus on sharing and transparency.

Responsibilities:

•    Assist in gathering and analyzing requirements during initial project stages.
•    Design and develop software solutions consistent with software development/engineering best practices.
•    Integrate existing systems, while maintaining a strong focus on decoupling.
•    Maintain and enhance solutions as per enhancement request(s) from various non-technical functional groups.
•    Configure, modify, and administer out-of-the-box open-source or proprietary systems.

Qualifications:

•    Bachelors degree, or college diploma, in a technology related field.
•     One or two years of practical experience in PHP development.
•     Understanding of key web technology such as DOM, HTML, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript.
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Basic knowledge of Linux administration would be preferred.
•    Experience working with various non-technical functional groups would be preferred.

5-10 hours per week.
