Media Assistant (Amman)

SeekersGuidance is a global platform dedicated to delivering free, quality Islamic education. We believe in making sacred knowledge accessible and insightful. To help further our mission, we are looking for a skilled Media Assistant to join our dynamic team.

• Full time: 40 hours a week
• Location: Amman, Jordan

• Streaming Management: Operate and manage streaming software, predominantly OBS Studio, for live sessions and webinars.
• Studio Equipment Handling: Utilize and maintain studio lights, Sony cameras, Rodecaster Pro audio mixers, and various mics to ensure quality recording.
• Recording: Proficiently use cameras to capture high-quality b-rolls and other required footage.
• Video Editing: Use video editing software to produce clean and engaging content, ensuring seamless transitions, clear audio, and captivating visuals.
• Post-Production: Handle trimming, editing, and color grading of videos to maintain consistency and uphold the brand’s aesthetic.
• Animation: The ability to work on animation for video content would be a distinct advantage.
• Scholar Recording: Show confidence and professionalism when recording scholars, ensuring the essence and integrity of the content are preserved.
• Translation & Interpretation: Use bilingual skills in English and Arabic to translate, interpret, or add subtitles as necessary.

• Proven experience with OBS Studio and other streaming software.
• Familiarity with studio equipment, including Sony cameras, Rodecaster Pro audio mixers, and mics.
• Proficient in using video editing tools.
• Experience with animation tools or software would be a bonus.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to constructive feedback.
