Course Overview

Building the book, Kitab al Zuhd by Imam Waki, the course covers many of the religious attitudes regarding This Life and the Hereafter, how they used to worship, pray, fast, talk, and sayings of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Companions, Followers (Tabiin), and Early Muslims.

The Early Muslims did not only preserve the religion, they were examples of how it should be applied. In order to understand Islam on a deep level, we must look very carefully how at the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Early Muslims (al Salaf al Salih) lived, worshipped, and view worldly and religious life. This is exactly what Kitab al Zuhd of Waki ibn Al-Jarrah gives us.
