Executive Summary

This course is a continuation of the detailed thematic and linguistic analysis of the final 30th of the Qur’an. The mid-length suras, starting from sura al Infitar to al Layl, are covered in this module, continuing the explanation of the themes and discussions presented by God in these powerful suras.

Introduction

The tafsir of the final 30th of the Qur’an continues in this module with the analysis of the mid-length suras of this juz’. The suras covered are from sura al Infitar to sura al Layl.

In this course, we see how the Qur’an connects the believer to the Day of Judgement from multiple perspectives. They include the recording of our deeds; the juxtaposition of the situations of people in this life and the next; and the final state of persecutors and the persecuted. Other themes expanded upon are the eventual ease for the Believers and the inevitable fatigue of the Disbelievers; the difficulty of this life; and great good spending on worthy causes leads to.
