1 – Wisdoms 1, 2, & 3; Sura al-Fatiha: In this class, we will discuss the spheres of mercy and wisdom, the slave and the Lord, and the benefit of admonishens on the hearts; we will examine the opening chapter of the Qur’an, also known as the oft-recited seven verses.

2 – Wisdoms 4, 5, & 6; Sura al-Duha and al-Inshirah: In this class, we will discuss perfect faith, customs and habits, and companionship; we will examine the chapters of consolation to the Prophet ﷺ al-Duha and al-Inshirah. 

3 – Wisdoms 7, 8, & 9; Sura al-Tin and al-‘Alaq: In this class, we will discuss contentment with less, discriminating against others, and not objecting to Allah’s decree; we will discuss the chapter al-Tin which discusses the soul and its potentials and the chapter al-‘Alaq which contains the first verses ever revealed to the Prophet 

ﷺ. 4 – Wisdoms 10, 11, & 12; Sura al-Qadr and al-Bayyina: In this class, we will discuss the praiseworthy, permissible and blameworthy world, how to advise people, true freedom; we will examine the chapter al-Qadr and discuss ‘The Night of Power and the chapter al-Bayyina containing insights on the best and worst of people. 

5 – Wisdoms 13, 14, & 15; Sura al-Zalzala and al-‘Adiyat: In this class, we will discuss appreciation and consolation, the rights of Allah and the slaves, the assumption of worldly gain and the certainty of death; we will examine the chapters al-Zalzala and al-‘Aadiyat in which the signs of the Day of Judgment are discussed.

 6 – Wisdoms 16, 17, & 18; Sura al-Qari’a and al-Takathur: In this class, we will discuss breaking resolve, fighting off desires, and the realities of faith; we will examine chapter al-Qari’a and the scales of good and bad deeds, as well as chapter al-Takathur in which we discuss amassing wealth and the responsibility of blessings. 

7 – Wisdoms 19, 20, & 21; Sura al-‘Asr and al-Humaza: In this class, we will discuss hidden realities, true intellect, and love of wealth and status; we will discuss the chapters al-Asr and al-Humaza: usings our time properly and watching our tongues. 

8 – Wisdoms 22, 23, & 24; Sura al-Fil and Quraysh: In this class, we will discuss the examples of the earth and knowledge, the realities of claims, the discernment fo the soul; we will examine the story of the elephant and the journeys of the Quraysh. 

9 – Wisdoms 25, 26, & 27; Sura al-Ma’un and al-Kawthar: In this class, we will discuss the signs of the truthful and the liars, ease and difficulty, and poverty and wealth; we will examine the good deeds, the prayer, and those who neglect them and the protection and benevolence of Allah to those who He loves. 

10 – Wisdoms 28, 29, & 30; Sura al-Kafirun and al-Nasr: In this class, we will discuss holding back from vain desires, the state of the caller to Allah, and the scholar; we will examine regarding the disbelievers and the help of Allah 

11 – Wisdoms 31, 32, & 33Sura al-Lahab and al-Iklas: In this class, we will discuss showing off, praiseworthy and blameworthy shyness, and truth and lies.; we will examine the story of Abu Lahab and the chapter of Sincerity (Ikhlas) which equals one third of the Qur’an in rewards. 

12 – Wisdoms 34, 35, & 36; Sura al-Falaq and al-Nass: In this class, we will discuss looking upon the material world, avidness for wealth, and proper avenues of wealth; we will examine the final two chapters of the Qur’an, the chapters of refuge.
