Course & Content Assistant

SeekersGuidance is looking for a serious and dependable Course & Content Assistant to support scholars and academic teams in delivering high-quality, accessible learning. This role combines lesson support, student engagement, and content development. We are looking for someone who is keen to serve, learn, and grow — and who can work consistently with careful follow-through week after week.

Overview

The Course & Content Assistant at SeekersGuidance supports scholars and academic teams in delivering high-quality, accessible learning. This role combines lesson-support work, student engagement, and content development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lesson Slides and Assessments

• Prepare lesson slides aligned with lesson goals and teacher plans.
• Draft quizzes and short assessments, then finalise them after teacher review.
• Ensure all materials are clear, well-organised, and easy for students to follow.

2. Student Support and Forum Engagement

• Monitor course discussion forums at least three times per week.
• Respond to student questions within 24 hours.
• Encourage student engagement and flag concerns to the relevant teacher.

3. Content Development

• Convert selected lessons, talks, and seminars into clear, useful written articles.
• Apply SeekersGuidance editorial standards: plain language, descriptive headings, short paragraphs, and accessible explanations of technical terms.
• Assist with editing, proofreading, and related religious guidance content as needed.

4. Communication and Coordination

• Coordinate with scholars and academic staff on content timelines and priorities.
• Attend team check-ins and submit work on schedule.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with teachers, students, and staff.

Who We Are Looking For

• An intermediate or higher level in Islamic studies, with recognised teachers and studied texts.
• Good written Arabic or English. Both is a strong plus.
• A sincere desire to serve, learn, and grow.
• Consistency, dependability, and the ability to follow through week after week.
• Clear writing and good organisation.
• Working proficiency with Google Docs, Google Slides, or PowerPoint.
• A collaborative attitude and good adab with scholars and students.

Our goal is content that moves seekers from information to guidance. Every article, slide, and quiz should be easy to read, easy to learn from, and easy to act on.

Deliverables

• Lesson slides prepared on time and aligned with teacher plans.
• Quiz questions drafted and finalised after teacher review.
• Forum monitored three times weekly with responses within 24 hours.
• Written articles that meet SeekersGuidance editorial standards.
• Consistent weekly output with clear communication on progress.
