Answers Coordinator

The SeekersGuidance Answers Service is one of our most vital offerings, connecting thousands of people with clear, reliable guidance. As the Answers Coordinator, you are the bridge between a seeker’s confusion and a scholar’s clarity. You are the traffic controller of this ecosystem. Your job is to ensure that every question submitted is tracked, assigned, translated (if needed), answered, and published efficiently. You will work cross-functionally with scholars, translators, and the media team to turn raw questions into polished, accessible content.

What You’ll Do:

1. Master the Workflow

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a question: from the moment it hits our inbox to the moment the answer is published on the website
  • Assign questions to the appropriate scholars based on specialization and availability
  • Ensure no question falls through the cracks—you are the guardian of the queue

2. Coordinate Live & Direct Knowledge

  • Organize and support live Q&A sessions. You will handle question prep and provide real-time tech support (e.g., using OBS) to ensure sessions run smoothly
  • Manage and track scholar “Office Hours,” ensuring scholars are present and technical systems are working

3. Bridge the Language Gap

  • Act as the linguistic hub. You will assign translations and review bilingual content to ensure the English translation faithfully represents the Arabic original
  • Maintain consistency in terminology across written and video answers

4. Publish & Polish

  • Collaborate with the Media & Outreach teams to turn written answers into video content or social media clips
  • Format answers for the website, ensuring they meet our editorial standards and SEO best practices before publishing
  • Document processes and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks

Key Performance Indicators (How You Win):

  • Turnaround Time: Maintain a specific average turnaround time (e.g., <7 days) from question submission to published answer
  • Volume: Consistently hit weekly targets for the number of answers processed and published
  • Accuracy: Zero critical errors in translation or formatting on published content
  • Scholar Support: Ensure 100% of scheduled live sessions and office hours are staffed and technically supported

Who You Are:

  • Bilingual: You have native-level fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken). You can navigate religious texts in Arabic and professional correspondence in English
  • A Process Geek: You love checklists, workflows, and keeping things organized. You don’t get overwhelmed by a full inbox; you get to work clearing it
  • Tech-Comfortable: You aren’t a developer, but you are comfortable with Content Management Systems (CMS), basic video tools (like OBS), and SEO principles
  • A Diplomat: You can coordinate with busy scholars and translators with respect, patience, and persistence
  • Mission-Driven: You understand the gravity of religious guidance and handle the content with the seriousness it deserves
