After arrogantly refusing to prostrate to Adam, Iblis is condemned to Hell. Instead of accepting His mistake, he blames Allah and vows to misguide Adam’s descendants so they end up in Hell too. Allah warns Adam and his wife about Iblis’ enmity for them, yet he still manages to trick them. In doing so the difference between Adam and Iblis is made clear.
