In the twenty-seventh episode of this series, Shaykh Abdullah Misra covers three hadiths from Kitab al-Riqaq, which convey the cure to a hard heart and provide a means to reach Allah Most High.
In the first two hadiths, we learn the things of this world that were made beloved to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace).
Shaykh Abdullah explains in detail the beautiful conduct of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) with the Mothers of the Believers. We also learn how the coolness of the eyes of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) was placed in the prayer.
The third hadith warns us of indulging in a luxuriant lifestyle. When a certain group lives a lifestyle of luxury and gets addicted to it, the effect filters down in society and becomes a cause of corruption. The true servants of Allah do not indulge in luxury.
