“Migration” often conjures up images of leaving one place for another where opportunities are more favorable. In this podcast, Shaykh Faraz Rabbani explains that, likewise, in Islam, the muhajir (migrant) migrates from all that Allah Most High prohibited to seeking His love and presence. He describes the antidotes to sin, engaging in disliked deeds, and heedlessness, and reminds us that Allah Most High is Most Merciful and forgives all sins. All that’s required is sincere repentance and commitment to staying on the path. Shaykh Rabbani illustrates how to make remembrance of the Divine and intention (niyyah) part of our daily activities.
