Shaykh Yahya continues his discussion on the virtue mentioned in Imam Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al Sulami’s (d. 412 AH, 1034 CE) book, Kitab al-Futuwwa: attracting the love of Allah Ta’ala by becoming loveable to the awliya (people of Allah). Here, he begins discussing the numerous benefits of this virtue, including the immense benefit of reciting the chain of narrators in ahadith. He also explains why “learning to read the people of Allah Ta’ala” is so important.
