In this podcast Shaykh Faid teaches us the importance of conveying humility within us by giving the example of Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), one of the greatest Imams of this Umma. Haroon Al-Rashid, the Caliph at the time, came to Imam Malik to seek knowledge and desired to have a special time with the Imam. When he came to his house Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said ”The ilm (knowledge), if it was to be prevented from the public, the elite would never benefit from that knowledge.” Also in this segment Shaykh Faid touches upon the life of the beautiful companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) Sayyidina Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), as well as the other companions (may Allah be pleased with them all).
