Question

Does removing a solid sebaceous filament from the skin invalidate wudu if it does not flow or contain moisture?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

I pray you are in good faith and health. Thank you for your question.

Removing a solid sebaceous filament from the skin, as you describe, does not break wudu.

Wudu is nullified when an impurity exits the body and then flows from its point of exit on its own. Moving it by squeezing the area or wiping it does not invalidate one’s wudu if it had not moved on its own.
