In this podcast is a 4 week Tafsir course which has commenced with Surat al-Baqara, taught by Shaykh Faid.
Shaykh Faid starts this weekly tafsir by explaining how the Qur’an will be preserved by those who have a pure heart. He goes on to explain what is meant by knowledge being light. He then explains why Surat al-Baqara is the greatest sura in the Qur’an. Surat al-Baqara has several different names it is known by. It was the first sura revealed in Madina. Shaykh Faid ends by giving an overview of the three groups mentioned at the beginning of Surat al-Baqara: 1)believers, 2)non-believer, and 3) the hypocrites.
