Is Constant Passing of Wind Considered a Valid Excuse To Pray Without Ablution?

Question:
Is constant passing wind considered a valid excuse to pray without ablution?
Answer:
Dear questioner,
Thank you for your important question.
May Allah alleviate your difficulties and reward you for every second of hardship.
Passing wind would not count as a valid excuse (udhr) to pray without ablution (wudhu). You must still make ablution for prayer.
According to the Hanafi school, if no water is available for 1 mile, you may perform tayammum.

Try your best to always carry a water bottle with you for the sake of ablution, even if you can only do what is obligatory (wash your face, arms, feet & wipe your hair).
Do not feel that you must hold your wind for the sake of ablution as this will bring about health issues. Consider consulting a doctor to diagnose why you have this wind/gas problem.
May Allah, Most High reward you for your pious intentions in drawing closer to him.
And Allah alone knows best.
