What types of socks fulfill the conditions of wiping?
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
Any sock that fulfills the conditions mentioned below is valid to be used.
- The sock must be thick enough that it would not tear if one walked 3.5 miles in them.
- The sock must cover the ankle.
- The sock must be thick enough that water does not immediately penetrate to the foot when wiped on with dripping-wet hands.
- The sock must be free from holes that exceed the size of the three smallest toes.
