SeekersGuidance is Hiring! Three Full Time Positions Available


By the Grace of Allah Almighty, SeekersGuidance Global is looking to add three new hires to our management team to help take our work to the next level: an Outreach Manager, a Development Manager and a Senior Executive Assistant.

First Position: Outreach Manager

We are presently seeking a qualified Outreach Manager with strong project management, online marketing, social media, and community engagement skills.

The incumbent’s main responsibility will be the stewardship of our Outreach function, showcasing the core values of SeekersGuidance, and making our educational services accessible to a wider audience.

Key Job Parameters:

  • Status: Full-time (40 hours a week)
  • Location: Remote
  • Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

This critical position entails direct responsibility and stewardship of our Outreach. The primary objectives of this position are to:

  • Showcase the Core Values of what SeekersGuidance is and what it does.
  • Showcase the Value of all our various educational services.

Requirements:

  • Devising and implementing clear strategies which showcase and promote SeekersGuidance’s Knowledge and Guidance offerings, both online and on-ground, through an active project management approach
  • Managing a consistent social media presence across established and emerging channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc.
  • Building successful ad campaigns on Facebook and Google that convert
  • Reviewing Google Analytics to measure website traffic and marketing goals, and establishing and achieving defined key operational KPIs / metrics
  • Devising and effectively implementing Student and Follower Engagement Strategies

Candidate Profile and Skills:

  • Strong Project Management skills—ideally with 3-5 years experience
  • Keen marketing and social media expertise
  • Effective people manager, open to direction with a collaborative work style and an unflinching commitment to getting the job done in a fast-paced, dynamic community service context
  • Audience engagement–in person and online
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Arabic Language is a plus

Second Position: Development Manager

We are also seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Manager with strong project management, community engagement, and fundraising skills.

The role is a hands-on, disciplined, high energy position that is primarily responsible for Development and sustainability measures, Donor management, and external engagement with strategic partners.

  • Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

The role is a hands-on, disciplined, high energy position that is primarily responsible for:

  • Development and sustainability measures – fund-raising and campaign development
  • Donor management: Engage with existing donors on an ongoing basis to manage and enhance the relationship
  • External engagement: Build and manage relations with strategic partners

Requirements:

  • Assist in formulating the organization’s development goals and strategies
  • Plan and implement development campaigns and fundraising events
  • Manage a team of volunteers and part-time staff
  • Maintain a high degree of donor engagement; assist in formulating plans for enhancing the donor relationship and executing approved plans
  • Assist in planning and formulating strategies for building relationships within the global Muslim communities; execute strategies and plans once internally approved.

Candidate Profile and Skills:

  • Highly developed Project Management experience and skill

Third Position: Senior Executive Assistant

We are presently seeking a qualified Executive Assistant with strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills.

The incumbent’s main responsibility will be the to provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Senior Management of SeekersGuidance based on Project Management best-practices.

Key Job Parameters:

  • Status: Full-time (40 hours a week)
  • Location: Remote
  • Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Reports to: Managing Director

The role provides critical support to the Managing Director and the Senior Management Team at SeekersGuidance. The Executive Assistant will handle the lead upon the business development, manage organizational priorities and support internal departments to meet required deadlines to the highest operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Executive Assistance
    • Arranging Board of Directors and management meetings (including client meetings), and taking detailed minutes for key projects on a daily basis
    • Day-to-day management of the Managing Director’s diary and meeting schedule.
    • Liaising with staff, teachers and teams at a high-level on behalf of the Managing Director and Senior Management
    • Providing direct support for the Senior Management team as required, particularly in meeting business planning targets  
    • Maintaining all HR records, staff contracts, appraisal and training records  
    • Supporting the Managing Director to prepare visual presentations
    • Researching and suggesting best tools for project management, minute-taking and timelining 
    • Ensuring the SeekersGuidance google calendar is up to date
  • Staff Management
    • Scheduling regular personal review, appraisal and mentoring meetings  
    • Co-ordination of employees’ payroll administration data for outsourced accountancy provider  
    • Maintenance of employee holiday and sick leave records  
    • Co-ordination of updates of the Staff Handbook and other organizational policies  
    • Developing the team training function and holding records of staff development  
    • Undertaking key HR duties, including drafting of employment contracts in liaison with the Managing Director
  • Business Planning and Project Management
    • Scheduling regular personal review, appraisal and mentoring meetings  
    • Co-ordination of employees’ payroll administration data for outsourced accountancy provider  
    • Maintenance of employee holiday and sick leave records  
    • Co-ordination of updates of the Staff Handbook and other organizational policies  
    • Developing the team training function and holding records of staff development  
    • Undertaking key HR duties, including drafting of employment contracts in liaison with the Managing Director

Candidate Profile and Skills:

  • 2 years+ experience of working at executive assistant level with senior management and senior-level clients (required)
  • Strong operational skills (required)
  • Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information
  • Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple tasks, whilst reporting into different project working teams
  • IT literate with some experience of working in a team in a small charity or company  
  • Numerate with the ability to present and analyse data  
  • Knowledge of advanced MS office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook  
  • Excellent social skills: ability to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy  
  • A high degree of personal organisation and self-management  
  • Comfortable when working to tight deadlines and high-pressured environments
  • Ability to think proactively and laterally to maximise opportunities to promote the work of the organisation  
  • A strong interest in the work of charities and/or social enterprises 
  • A general understanding of external and economic trends affecting the sector in which SeekersGuidance operates
