as-Salam ‘alaykum wa rahmatu’llah!
Today, December 10, 2017, marks the start of the next journey for SeekersGuidance. So allow us to update everyone on where SeekersGuidance is going and what you can expect next.
First, we’ve embarked on the launch of the SeekersGuidance Global Islamic Seminary. Announced at today’s Annual Benefit Luncheon in Mississauga, Ontario, this news has been building over the last few years. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into expanding the educational service of SeekersGuidance to make reliable Islamic knowledge practical and tangible around the world.
So far, a number of worldwide unique visitors to our site, almost four million to be specific, as well as 80,000 registrations for our wide catalogue of free courses show that our service meets the demand for quality, sound Islamic knowledge. The seminary is a culmination of our efforts to formalize SeekersGuidance’s resources, and give people more to aspire toward.
Along with the Global Islamic Seminary launch, we’re also rolling out the newly re-named SeekersGuidance Toronto Islamic Seminary. Yes, we’ll still call it “The Guidance” in our hearts, but this name change reflects the bold step as our first campus of the Global Islamic Seminary. It will lead our students, faculty, and beneficiaries towards learning and growing in a dynamically traditional setting, insha’llah.
We have already designed a new logo for both the Global Islamic Seminary and the Toronto Islamic Seminary.
The new SeekersGuidance name and logo represents higher aspirations, growth in service, and a brighter future for learning. We want the world to recognise SeekersGuidance as the leader that it is, and the first name that comes to mind when we set out to increase ourselves in knowledge for His sake.
We have already begun the process of switching out the old with the new. We expect to be fully transitioned in a few weeks.
And as always, if you have any questions or comments, please let us know! Sign up for our newsletters and keep us in your bookmarks to see what else Allah give us to give to you.
May Allah reward you with good in this life and the next!
