Is It Obligatory to Say Ameen after Someone Says In Sha’ Allah?

Answered by Shaykh Yusuf Weltch

Is it obligatory to say Ameen after someone says InshAllah?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

It is not necessary to say Ameen after someone says In sha’ Allah.

It is recommended to say Ameen in response to someone’s supplication however, In sha’ Allah is not a supplication. In sha’ Allah means if Allah wills.

Hope this helps
