How Can a Woman Differentiate Between Mani and Madhi?

Question

I am confused about when ghusl is obligatory on me.

I cannot differentiate between mani and madhi. How can I do this?

Answer

I pray that this message finds you well, insha’Allah.

The ritual bath (ghusl) is obligatory after the release of ejaculate (mani), which usually follows a sexual climax (orgasm).

Pre-sexual fluid (madhi), on the other hand, is released during sexual excitement yet only necessitates a ritual ablution (wudu).
