Question

What is the ruling of marketing a product for someone else online, and taking an amount of commission, with the consent of the product owner?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

Yes, it is permitted to take a commission for marketing a product online upon agreement with the product owner. This can be a fixed lump sum amount or an agreed-upon percentage from the sale of the item. [Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar, Taqi Usmani, Taqrir-Tirmidhi]

I pray this helps in your question.
