Question Summary

Is it permissible in the Hanafi school to pray two Jumu’a prayers in the same masjid?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

The relied upon position in the Hanafi school is that multiple Friday prayers can be held within one city. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al -Falah]

Some of the great jurists of our time, Mufti Taqi Usmani, have extended this ruling to allow multiple Friday prayers even within one mosque if the need arises.
