Question

My question is, can a man marry a woman who had a child with him in a previous relationship (illegal relationship)?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

I pray you are in good health and faith.

Yes, one can marry a woman with whom he has had a child out of marriage and wedlock.

If the adulterer marries a woman who is pregnant with him, a marital relationship is permissible with her, and he has to bear the expenses. [Ibn ’Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar]
