Question

Can I pray eight raka voluntary prayers with one salam? If yes, then how?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

It is permissible to pray eight raka of nafl prayer with one salam. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

When performing such a prayer, it is necessary for you to sit at the end of every two units of prayer. You should recite in the sitting the Tashahhud supplication, the prayer on the Prophet, and the supplication. After that, you will stand up and recite the opening supplication. This process will continue as such till the end of the prayer. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

Note that it is recommended not to exceed four units of Nafl prayer at any one time. However, it is permissible and valid either way. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

Hope this helps
