Question
Does bleeding from the rectum break wudu, and is it impure (najis) if it does not flow out? I have heard that bleeding only breaks wudu and is impure (najis) if it flows, so would this also apply to blood from the rectum?
Also, if it is not constant and bleeding occurs mainly only after defecation and up to 12 hours after (mainly only if I pass wind), but in rare cases, it occurs randomly, what should I do? Should I check before every prayer?
The blood that comes out of the back passage is minimal and would not have flowed if I hadn’t wiped it. If I dab a tissue on the area, the tissue will show only a speck of blood.
Please provide an answer that will grant me ease, as this is severely affecting my mental health.
