Question

Shall I repeat my prayer if I have Doubts about Urine Dribbling?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

I commend you for having concern about your prayer.

If you are in the habit of experiencing doubts and you are not certain about the urine drops, then you may sprinkle water around your private parts or underpants and attribute the wetness to the water. Consider the following hadith, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, Jibra’il (peace be upon him) came to me, and said, ‘O Muhammad! “When you perform wudu, sprinkle water over the private part’’ [Tirmidhi]

Don’t make a habit of checking for urine drops each time, and only act upon certainty or near certainty. Try to abandon doubts and act contrary to it.

In your above case, you did not have to repeat the prayer, as you were certain you had done wudu, a number of times.

How to Deal with Doubts

These types of misgivings are all too common concerning matters of purification. Shaytan plays on people’s sincerity in their religion and incites them toward false caution.

Knowledge

The long-term cure for these constant doubts is to seek a deeper understanding of Islamic Knowledge. With knowledge, Shaytan cannot deceive you with his whispers and plots. I would advise you to find authentic scholars in your area and study a basic text in Islamic Jurisprudence with them.

I would like you to go through the Reader below, it will help you in every way.
