I pray you are in good faith and health.
Generally, a person is not allowed to touch an individual of the opposite gender if they are not related. However, there are certain situations where it is necessary, such as in the case of doctors and nurses. In such instances, touching is permissible, but one should use gloves. If gloves are not available, then it is still permissible to touch.
Scholars say it is permitted to touch and examine a patient to the extent of the necessity and educational need. Beyond this, it is to be avoided. As this is part of the job, it would be permissible and necessary. Necessity permits prohibit acts.
