Should I Stop Working to Listen to the Quran During My Brother’s Online Class?
Answered by Shaykh Yusuf Weltch
Question
Should I stop my work and listen to the Quran when my brother is taking an online Quran class, even though he dislikes me entering the room to listen closely? What is the best approach in this situation?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.
If you entering your brother’s room to listen to Quran is disturbing to your brother and his class, you should refrain from this. You are not obliged to listen carefully to the Quran if doing so will cause undue difficulty on you and your other responsibilities.
Hope this helps
