Does Washing at 60°C Make Cloth Diapers Pure in Islam?

Question

Is it permissible to use cloth diapers without affecting tahara if they are pre-rinsed and washed at 60°C on a hygiene cycle?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

It is permissible to use cloth diapers. As long as they are washed with flowing water or any pure liquid that would remove the impurity, to the extent that the impurity is removed (even if a hard-to-remove stain remains). [Tahtawi/Shurunbulali, Hashiyat Maraqi al-Falah]
