What If Tawaf Was Done Without Ghusl?

Question

What should one do if they performed ‘Umra, tawaf, and worship in Madina without realizing they were in a state requiring ghusl?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

If one performed the entire Tawaf in a state of major ritual impurity, they must do an expiatory sacrifice of a sheep/goat. [Maydani, al-Lubab fi Sharh al-Kitab]

For the other acts you mentioned, no expiation is due.

Be aware that this could also be misgivings (waswasa).
