Is it permitted to mention the type of woman one likes in front of women?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate

There is a difference between the rulings of the Sacred Law and propriety. The mere mention of qualities one likes in a woman in front of women is not prohibited in the Sacred Law.

That is assuming that one’s intentions were not sinful or the manner in which one did this was not seductive or flirtatious.

Propriety

As they relate to propriety, such statements may likely be considered inappropriate. However, even this would depend on the healthy customs of the righteous Muslims in that area.

One can encourage that which is better, but if there are no legal infarctions, one cannot object.
