Is It Permissible to Manufacture and Sell Condoms?

Question: Assalam aleykum

I would like to start a work where a friend of mine has a company which manafactures and sells condoms, gloves and other latex products on a large scale. Is it wrong for me to go into the field of selling/manafacturing these products?

Answer: assalamu alaykum

It would be permitted to produce and sell condoms because they are in themselves permitted to use.

If an individual buys a condom from you to engage in illicit relations, then this his choice for which you are not responsible. Even if you know that he will be engaging in such acts, it would still be valid for you to sell him such products as you are not directly assisting in sin.
