How Do I Make Up My Missed Prayers?

Question: How do I make up missed prayers?

Answer:

Thank you for your important question.

My advice would be, to begin with

(1) learning the essentials of your faith and practice soundly—and please consider the free courses here at SeekersGuidance; and

(2) cultivating your faith and spiritual growth through daily reading and reflection on the Qur’an, some daily remembrance of Allah, and keeping company.

After this, calculate how many missed prayer you have to make up, and set a consistent, sustainable schedule to make them up. Try to do one make up prayer per obligatory prayer. This way, you will get them done quickly without overwhelming yourself.

May Allah bless you for your concern. May Allah grant you success and facilitation. May Allah facilitate all ways of good for you.

And Allah is the giver of success and facilitation.
