Question

Can I buy a gift for my fiancée just before getting married?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.

I pray you are in good faith and health. Thank you for your question and for seeking guidance and duas from us.

Yes, it is permissible to buy a gift for your fiancée as you intend to get married. You can send the gift to a female member of your family. There is no need for a guardian (wali).

We pray Allah Most High gives you every success in your marriage, creates harmony and love between the families, and protects you all from all kinds of tests and evil eye, amin.
