Answered by Shaykh Irshaad Sedick
Should I make up missed Tarawih and Witr prayers?
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate.
May Allah alleviate our difficulties and guide us to that which is pleasing to Him. Amin.
Imam Nawawi (Allah have mercy on him) says, “If one misses a supererogatory prayer that has a prescribed time, it is recommended (nudiba) to make it up, according to the preponderant view (al-azhar).” [Nawawi, Minhaj]
I pray this is of benefit and that Allah guides us all.
