Searching sexual fiqh questions online

Question: I am a 15-year-old boy, and a couple of years ago, I had a sudden increase in sexual desire that I never had before, and it continues to this day. I get images in my head of me kissing different women and other similar thoughts. When I was 11 or 12, I searched for questions on IslamQA relating to marriage and sexual fiqh. I still do this to cope with my extreme desire. I search for fiqh of sexual intercourse, different types of fluids that release the body, trimming and shaving bodily hair, fiqh of Women, circumcision, etc. Are these searches haram?

Answer:

Assalamu alaykum,

Brother, what you are feeling is totally normal, and any young man will feel some lust toward the opposite gender. I pray that you can learn to control your thoughts and feelings, which is the key to making sure that you don’t step into something haram. The halal means to satisfy your desire will come with marriage, in sha Allah, and your job is to prepare for it.

If you are looking up these questions and answers to increase your knowledge and learn how to apply it to yourself, it is permissible.

If you are looking up these questions and answers to derive sexual pleasure, it would not be permissible.
