Can I Ask For More Than One Thing in Du’a?

Answered by Ustadh Tabraze Azam.

Question: I’m new converted muslim and I wish to know full procedure of making a vow to Allah. Also what do people usually offer to Allah for a specific need? In the same ‘request’ can I ask for few separate things, like to make my divorce easier on me and my current husband, and to make it easier to get married to another man, or does that have to be in a separate vow?

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I pray that you are in the best of health and faith, insha’Allah.

You can ask for more than one matter in a supplication.
