Do I Need to Repeat My Missed Fajr Prayers If I Have Not Yet Made Up My Witr Prayers?
Hanafi Fiqh
Answered by Shaykh Yusuf Weltch
Question
Do I need to repeat my missed Fajr prayers if I have not yet made up my Witr prayers, or are they still valid?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate
If you have missed more than 6 obligatory prayers, it is not a requirement to perform them or the necessary prayers in order of occurrence. [Maydani, al-Lubab fi Sharh al-Kitab]
If you have less than 6 obligatory prayers to make up, you must perform them and Witr in the proper sequence. In this case, it is not permissible to make up the Fajr prayers until you have first made up the Witr prayers. [Ibid.]
Hope this helps
